Rehabilitation with Clinical Pilates Clinical Pilates is a form of therapeutic exercise designed by physiotherapists to correct muscle imbalances and poor movement patterns which our bodies adopt following injury, surgical intervention or in response to poor postural habits. Clinical Pilates helps to improve muscle tone, core stability and flexibility. A personalised rehabilitation program provides a range of exercises which do not result in excessive loading on the limb at risk or the lymphoedematous limb. Each session is closely monitored by a physiotherapist and finishes with specific lymphatic decongestive exercises. A well-equipped Pilates studio is available at Manly Physiotherapy and Sports Injuries Centre.
