Counselling Helena provides professional counselling and psychotherapy services. All sessions are characterised with compassion, understanding and no judgement in a safe environment which offers complete privacy and confidentiality. Assisting you to break through life-long habits and blockages. To overcome your fears and manage stress in your life. Through Cognitive Behavioural Therapy you will come to an understanding of your issues, what has caused them and what is maintaining them. As a team we will work on practical strategies and skills so you can overcome your difficulties, manage any recurrence and improve your wellbeing. Treatment normally requires 4 to 10 sessions, depending on the complexity, nature and duration of your difficulties. To maximise your progress I will often recommend exercises to be conducted at home. The practice does not specialise in: - family or couple therapy - counselling children - providing reports for court or for insurance purposes - emergency or crisis management.
